Farewell Service from Rev James Scott

On sunday 24th, the Rev James Scott preached his last sermon and took his last service in Drumoak-Durris Church.

He took remembrance and continuity as his theme. His address to the children used Little Miss Scatterbrain who forgot everything all the time. This was contrasted with the Lesson taken from Hebrews Ch 13, v 1-8 where the writer encourages his readers to remember a number of institutions, morals and people. At a time of change in our small congregation when we say goodbye to our much loved Jim and Roz and begin the search for a new minister, what better message could there be than to remember that Jesus Christ is the same yesterday, today and for ever.
