World Day of Prayer, Friday 4th March, Drumoak Hall, 2.15pm

Matthew, ch 18, v 19. Jesus said, "For where two or three are gathered together in my name, there am I in the midst of them."
Every year, on or around the first Friday in March, Christians around the world of all denominations and ages - men, women, youngsters and children -  gather in small groups and large congregations. Then, using the same basic form of worship which has been written by women of a different country each year on a theme given by the WDP International Committee, they hold a meeting.
This year we pray with women of Chile for refugees, victims of natural disasters, the hungry, the abused, powerless women, children who need help, women and children who are trafficked, those affected by HIV or AIDS and those who are suffering from local issues.
In this service we are called upon to reflect on the miracle of the feeding of the five thousand and to answer the questions:
"How many loaves do you have?"
"What are your gifts?"
"What can you share?"

Our meeting will be in Drumoak Church Hall, on Friday 4th March at 2.15pm.
