Drumoak-Durris Church held its 2nd Spring Ceilidh on Saturday 21st May, and it was another resounding success. Some hundred or more people of all ages, from "9 to 90" turned up to enjoy the music of Ceilidh Stomp and the stovies of Mrs Brown.
The teenagers may think they're fit but there were more than a few of the middle generation and some of the older who kept up in the hectic Strip-the-Willow and other jigs. Dancers had to sharp-eyed as well as nimble to leap over the toddlers running through their legs. Could you dance a Dashing White Sergeant with a babe in your arms?
